Addressing a largely attended Medical Seminar & Meeting of Members & their spouses of Railway Senior Citizens Welfare Society (RSCWS), held at the Government Museum & Art Gallery Auditorium, Chandigarh on Sunday, April 12, Dr Col. Jaiveer Singh, Director, Ophthalmology, Fortis Hospital, explained in detail the “problems of Eyes – especially in old age & the treatment thereof”. He particularly dispelled the old belief that the Cataract is to be operated when it gets fully developed or ripens. He explained in simple language the modern techniques for management & invasive & non-invasive intervention of various eye problems in old age.

The talk was followed by an interactive session in which a large number of queries by the participants were satisfactorily replied.
